The Ivory Tanto Samurai Dagger by Marto of Toledo Spain features a black laquered scabbard (saya) and black knob (kurikata) cord. The very elaborate hilt has guard (tsuba) and collar (fuchi) in bronze plated metal, whilst the grip is in simulated ivory resin engraved with human and animal scenes. The big pommel (kashira) has a dragon's head shape. The slightly curved, one-edge blade is tempered steel.
